Modern aeroengines employ labyrinth seal systems to the clearance between blade tip and surrounding engine casing. Understanding of wear mechanism fins abradable coatings on casing is necessary help aeroengine achieve higher efficiency. In this study, multiple tests with different types fin geometries are conducted a high-speed test rig speed 100m/s. Two motorized stages used simulate axial movement in an aeroengine.
